How it works
- Drop in the original and the new version.
- Compare the text, or the pages as they look.
- Step through the changes, or download the report.
Questions
- Text or pages — what’s the difference?
- Comparing text shows the words removed and added, even if the layout moved. Comparing pages shows everything that looks different — an image, a logo, a signature — but one line shifting down is enough to mark the rest of the page.
- Do both PDFs need to come from the same app?
- Not for text: a contract exported from Word and the copy someone re-saved compare word by word, as long as both contain text. For pages, ideally yes — two apps never draw quite the same way.
- Is my file uploaded anywhere?
- No. Everything happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
