Questions

Does it care about capitals and accents?
Not by default: “cafe” finds “Café”. Tick the options to match them exactly.
What’s a regular expression?
A pattern rather than a word: \d{2}/\d{2}/\d{4} finds every date, [A-Z]{2}\d{2} every reference in that format. Here \w matches accented letters too.
What about scanned PDFs?
Their pages are pictures, with no text to search. Text recognition (OCR) is coming later.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
