Crop a PDF

Trim white margins, the black edges of a scan or anything else you don’t want: draw the frame to keep, or let the tool find each page’s content.

Your files never leave your browser. Nothing is uploaded, anywhere.

How it works

  1. Drop in your PDF.
  2. Draw the frame to keep on the page, or type the margins in millimetres — or press “Crop automatically”.
  3. Save: each page now shows only that frame.

Questions

Is the cropped content deleted?
No, it’s hidden: the PDF keeps the whole page and only records which area to display and print. That makes cropping lossless and reversible, but it isn’t deletion — to remove sensitive information for good, use a redaction tool.
How does automatic cropping work?
Each page is drawn in your browser; the tool finds where the non-white content starts and stops, and crops close to it with a small margin.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
