Questions
- Will the Word document look exactly like the PDF?
- Your choice. “Editable text” rebuilds a real document — headings, paragraphs, lists, tables — where the text flows and can be reworked freely. “Same layout” keeps each page’s look: the background as a picture, the text laid over it, still editable line by line.
- What about a scanned PDF?
- A scan is only a picture, so there’s no text to recover. Text recognition (OCR) is coming later.
- Which format should I pick?
- DOCX for Word, Google Docs or Pages; ODT for LibreOffice; RTF for a file that opens anywhere, down to WordPad and TextEdit.
- Is my file uploaded anywhere?
- No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
