Questions
- What kind of damage can be fixed?
- A wrong or missing cross-reference table, a file cut short (an interrupted download, a truncated attachment), wrong stream lengths, a broken page tree, junk appended at the end. Every page still in the file is recovered.
- Can everything be recovered?
- What’s no longer in the file is gone: if the end was cut off, the pages that were there won’t come back. If you can, download the original again.
- What if the repair fails?
- As a last resort, the pages the viewer can still draw are rebuilt as images. The look is saved, but the text can no longer be selected.
- Is my file uploaded anywhere?
