Add a watermark to a PDF
Stamp text — “Confidential”, “Copy”, “Draft”, your name — or a logo across a PDF’s pages: diagonal, tiled, on top or in the background.
Your files never leave your browser. Nothing is uploaded, anywhere.

How it works
- Drop in your PDF.
- Type the text or pick an image, then set its size, angle, opacity and position; the preview follows along.
- Save: the watermark is added to the pages you chose.
Questions
- Can the watermark go behind the text?
- Yes — choose “Behind the content”. It’s then drawn before the page’s own content, which stays perfectly readable. Note that a scanned page is one full-page image and will hide it.
- Can the watermark be removed afterwards?
- It becomes part of the page content, so it isn’t as easy to strip as an annotation. That’s the point of a watermark — but it isn’t absolute protection: someone determined can always edit it out.
- What about Greek, Arabic or Japanese text?
- Our fonts cover Latin alphabets (English, French, Vietnamese, Central European languages…). For another script, choose “A font from my computer” — it’s read right here and never sent anywhere.
- Is my file uploaded anywhere?
- No. Everything happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
