Password generator
Truly random passwords, drawn by your own browser — they never pass through a server.
Your files never leave your browser. Nothing is uploaded, anywhere.
Very strong (126 bits)
Click a password to select it, then copy it (Ctrl+C or ⌘C).
How it works
- Choose the length and the characters.
- Select a password and copy it.
- Keep it in a password manager.
Questions
- Where does the randomness come from?
- From your browser’s cryptographic generator (crypto.getRandomValues), the same one that encrypts your connections.
- How long should it be?
- 16 mixed characters is plenty for an account; beyond 80 bits, guessing is out of reach.
- Are the passwords stored?
- No. They only exist in this page; close it and they’re gone.
